PocketSave helps users plan grocery trips, track item prices, compare stores, and manage shopping history. This Privacy Policy explains what data PocketSave handles, how that data is used, and when it may be shared with service providers.
PocketSave is designed so that your grocery planning data is stored locally on your device. PocketSave does not currently sync your vault, carts, or shopping history to iCloud or to PocketSave-operated servers.
Some limited data may be transmitted to third-party providers when you use specific features such as subscriptions, purchase restoration, support, in-app feedback, crash reporting and diagnostics, or optional AI Scan for product and receipt photos.

This grocery vault and related planning data is stored locally on your device as part of the app’s normal operation.
When you use AI Scan (product photos or receipt photos), PocketSave may send the selected image and limited on-device OCR text extracted from that image to Google’s Gemini API (Google Generative Language API) so the app can suggest item details such as name, category, unit, package size, or price, or help fill missing prices from a receipt.
